Summer Cuties will originate in the Southern Hemisphere, and Sun Pacific has established two U.S.-based Authorized Cuties Licensed Distribution Centers, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast, to inspect and pack the fruit. Onsite Cuties Quality Control Representatives will ensure that all fruit meets or exceeds rigorous Cuties Quality Standards. Clementines are often available during late fall through winter, so it may not be easy to find them at other times of the year. “The launch of Summer Cuties makes our popular fruit available year-round, something our customers have been asking for to help them support and grow their citrus category sales during the summer months,” says Barney Evans, vice president of sales for Sun Pacific. “Summer Cuties will deliver the high standards our customers have come to expect from the Cuties brand because we are applying the same quality specifications we use on California Cuties.” Summer Cuties are available in 2- and 3-pound bags. Mandarins are a kind of orange the mandarin is actually the original ancestor of all other oranges. These tiny fruits are bright orange, easy to peel, sweeter than most other citrus fruits, and typically seedless. Summer Cuties will be easy to spot, with a new package design featuring the well-recognized Cuties Li’l Zipper decked out in sunglasses. Clementines commonly known by the brand names Cuties or Halos are a hybrid of mandarin and sweet oranges. Summer Cuties are making their debut from June through October 2014 to satisfy warm weather cravings for this sweet, easy-to-peel fresh fruit. For the first time, Cuties Clementines and Mandarins from Sun Pacific are now available to retailers during the summer months.
